Babymoon Maternity Photos at Kimpton Seafire
Victoria and Johnny came to Grand Cayman for one last getaway as a family of two before welcoming their first baby. They were staying at the beautiful Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa on Seven Mile Beach and decided their babymoon was the perfect time to capture this season with a maternity session. The Seafire sits directly on Seven Mile Beach, making it an especially gorgeous spot for visitors wanting beach photos while they’re here.
But my favourite part of their story? These two have known each other since they were babies. And now, all these years later, they’re getting ready to have a baby of their own. I mean, come on. How sweet is that?
We met on the beach near the Kimpton Seafire for their session, and Cayman gave us a little bit of everything that evening. Beautiful sunshine and warm golden light mixed with dramatic clouds rolling through, giving us such a gorgeous variety of photos.
Victoria came into the session without a long list of poses or specific shots she wanted. She told me she trusted me to do my thing and simply wanted photos that captured this really special season in their lives: their first baby on the way and their last trip with just the two of them.
So that’s exactly what we did. We kept things relaxed, wandered the beach, made the most of that ever-changing Cayman sky and captured the two of them exactly where they were in that moment: excited, in love and getting very close to a whole new chapter.
