Like so many of you, I find it really difficult to to deal with how fast time seems to fly by. So when you tell me, ‘I just want to get some photos taken before my baby loses those chubby cheeks,’ I totally get it! When I hear how terrible you feel because you’ve been meaning to update your family portraits for years now, I get that, too! So let’s connect! We’ll plan your dream photoshoot, we’ll have a dandy old time, and I promise you'll be in love with every single image.
Just a mom trying to be present, to be kind, silly, adventurous, and full of surprises, and learning to embrace all the moments.
In 2013, on a whim, my husband Patrick, our 5 week daughter, Ellerie, and our sweet cockapoo, Rolo moved to the Cayman Islands from London, Ontario. We came with the plan of staying for a year and yet, here we are, still frolicking the shores of Seven Mile Beach. We even had our very own island baby, Shea in 2016. We’re not very good at planning, so we’re kind of taking it one year at a time. I guess we're on island time??
Once upon a time I had a thriving career in HR but gave up the heels for flip flops once we moved to the Cayman Islands. My weekend hobby became a full-time reality in 2014! Who would have thought changing careers at 29 years of age was a thing. But HEY life is too short and being happy trumps everything! AM I right?!
I'm almost positive I'm solar powered. The weather is very indicative of my mood and all the sunny days here just make me feel ALIVE. It’s probably why it’s so hard to leave!
Spontaneity and wanderlust runs deep in this family. There's too much beauty in the world to stay put in one place.
The Caribbean breeze in my hair, the sound of the waves crashing... pure beautiful bliss.
I'm pretty sure I'm solar powered. Sunshine means to me what coffee means to you.
I love nothing more than getting the chance to connect face-to-face. So if we are able, let's get together for some good ol' fashioned fun & if we are too far apart, let's let the interwebs connect us.
