In 2013, on a total whim, my husband Patrick, our 5-week-old daughter Ellerie, and our sweet cockapoo Rolo packed up and moved from London, Ontario, to the Cayman Islands. The plan? Stay for a year. The reality? We’re still here, frolicking along Seven Mile Beach—because, well, island time is a real thing. 😎 We even added our own little island baby, Shea, to the crew in 2016.
I’ve never been much of a planner, but I’ve always been a dreamer. Once upon a time, I had a thriving career in HR, but I traded my heels for flip-flops when we made the move. What started as a weekend hobby quickly became my full-time passion in 2014. Who knew a career change at 29 would be the best plot twist of all? But hey—life’s too short not to chase joy, am I right?!
I’m pretty sure I’m solar-powered. ☀️ My mood literally follows the weather, and these endless sunny days make me feel alive. Maybe that’s why it’s so hard to leave! So, that’s me—just a girl, her camera, and a heart full of sunshine. Ready to make some magic together? 💛✨
