Family Photographer London Ontario | The Carrelas Family
Meet the Carrelas. Teachers and the wife and hubby team behind LTC Photography. I won’t lie and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone in this but when you’re ask to photograph another photographer’s family… you stress the heck out… just a little! But as soon as I got there Laura said to me “this is your thing” ….so okay…I did my thing 😉
We didn’t go too far for the session. Their backyard is a photographer’s dream as it backs out to a beautiful grassy field. You can see for yourselves! I’m pretty sure they might have built their home there purposely for that reason alone. Come on…I WOULD! The light from the sun setting was just oh so delicious and magical. Yes…I described the light as delicious. It’s something that I get very excited about. I was a lucky girl because I got to work with these two one week later when the roles were reversed! I absolutely loved how our own family photos turned out! See people…even us photographers need each other! This was our first family session so it was super special to me. Even though I preach this to my clients I’m very guilty of not getting in the photos with my daughter! So thank you Laura and Jason for the beautiful gift. I’ve already ordered a beautiful 12×12 album of our session 🙂
Ruby clearly doesn’t think her sister is funny..
I just adore these two shots of the love birds. This is their 5 year anniversary! I always try to include a couple of solo shots with the parents- 1, because they deserve it AND 2 because clearly they still have the hots for each other! Oh and if you’re wondering were the kiddies are….I’m piggy backing one and the other I’m craddling in my arms. Pretty impressive, right? 🙂 Just kidding…we had a helper
Did you know that Ruby loves pickles? Well she does….her mom brought out a bag of pickles for her to munch on in between takes. Sometimes the kiddies need a break so for future clients- it’s okay to bring snacks! Preferably, non-staining ones and if they like pickles then you can’t go wrong 😉
AND that’s it folks…signing off with a big fat smooch!
Don’t forget to be lovely and leave some love for the family. Comments, likes, shares…smiley faces…it’s all welcomed and appreciated!
